Key initiatives include mathematical modeling tools for risk prediction, the use of VTOL drones for quicker detection and logistics, and the expansion of infrastructure with 163 monitoring towers. These efforts, combined with ongoing training for firefighting teams, strengthen their preventive measures and ability to respond quickly in critical situations.
Despite the difficult situation in 2025, with 3,291 fire outbreaks, Suzano succeeded in decreasing the affected plantation and conservation areas by 69%, thanks to its strategic measures and predictive technologies.
